Das Gitarrenorchester wurde 2003 von Tzvetan Stoyanov, Lehrer an der Universität der Künste in Berlin, gegründet. Unter seiner Leitung spielen 19 Gitarristen klassische und folkloristische Werke aus vier Jahrhunderten. Das Ensemble wird zum Auftakt seiner kleinen Konzertreise durch Berlin und Brandenburg Musik von Georg Friedrich Händel, Silvius Leopold Weiss, Manuel de Falla, Leo Brouwer u.a. spielen.
